When you are working out of the house, your home becomes a sanctuary for your dwelling as well as a workspace. A quality workspace doesn’t solely rely on the size or location. It’s more to do with how you maximize the given space to meet your needs. A place where a person can easily focus, be creative and inspired is a good workspace no matter how small or large the area might be.
I prefer a modest room with natural light aka big window(s). If there is a desk and a window for an outdoor view, I’m good to go. One of my favorite places to work is the dining room in my house with a full view of the outside. One day, I would love a decent home library filled with my beloved books where I can quietly work and be inspired – my book collection is slowly yet surely growing! Plants are another must-have for the office in addition to books. Pinterest gives me an abundance of inspiration for home office and dream work places. I get giddy when I look at these endless options and examples.
